OLDER POEM
A Lullabye
Copyrighted 03.03.2004 Author: Barb Walker
Lay your weary head
To sleep.
Give your soul,
For me to keep.
May the hounds,
Of hell abide,
And runaway, from here,
And hide.
May God keep you,
In his care,
And protect you,
From dispair
May your heart be filled
With gladness;
And your soul,
Feel the lightness.
May you sing,
With all the chorus,
That you're free
From all the horrors.
